Aaron reported that he was still working on the poker ride. John will do the breakfast, Kathy will do the lunch, Dave Rush has the signs done, and Mario also has some signs at his house. Mario has sent out the flyers for the poker ride. John Groves has the route done and passed around a flyer so everyone could see it. It will be 100 miles on mostly county roads and stays in Kansas. He is planning on a stop in Linwood, Oskaloosa and possibly Easton. The group will ride the route on September 12th to make sure everything is okay and pick out where to put the signs and the stops. Meet at the bank at 1:00pm. There was feedback last year that people would like to have the route posted on the websight.We all also need to get gift cards for the drawings. If we need to get together for a special poker ride meeting Aaron said that he will let everyone know!
The Red Cross is having a ride this morning in Leavenworth.
Dells Honda is having a classic antique motorcycle show today. Aaron and John plan on going.
John and Theresa ran into Kitty this week and invited her to the meeting. She said that Earl is in Medical Lodge in Leavenworth.
Aaron mentioned that we need to start talking about a trip for next year; some people need to put in for vacations in a couple of months. Start thinking!!!Texas was mentioned.
When the club went to the T-Bones game this month Chapter B was interested in coming together for a dinner ride. We will be meeting them for the Sept. 16th dinner at Jakes Restaurant in the old Leavenworth Country Club.
Davis Rally is on the 10th. Bikers for Babies is coming up on Sept. 19th if anyone wants to go let Aaron know and we can go as a club.
